The Johnstown Area Heritage Association has a few locations throughout Johnstown. The Discovery Center has multiple galleries filled with Johnstown history as well as an occasional traveling exhibition. Visit their website to see the current exhibitions they are hosting. Also within the Discovery Center is the Children's Museum which is filled with fun activities for the kids!

Sightseeing
The Johnstown Inclined Plane is the Steepest (896.5-foot) funicular. The incline and its two stations connect the city of Johnstown, situated in a valley at the confluence of the Stonycreek and the Little Conemaugh Rivers, to the borough of Westmont on Yoder Hill. There is a wonderful restaurant and ice cream station at the top as well as Westmont. Westmont is a small town filled with historic beautiful homes.

Ligonier is a borough in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,573 at the 2010 census. Ligonier was settled in the 1760s. The borough is well known for nearby Idlewild Park, one of the oldest amusement parks in the country; and nearby Seven Springs Mountain Resort. It is located in the Laurel Highlands with lots of small shops and restaurants to visit! It is located just 30 minutes outside of Johnstown!
