Sightseeing

There's a light rail station at the end of 2nd street towards Jersey City 3 blocks away. Turn left as you exit the apartment and left at the corner and walk all the way down. You'll see the station on the right. That will take you directly to Hoboken Path station or to Newport Mall you can take it the other way to go check out River Road that runs along the NJ side of Hudson River. The light rail stops at the Weehawken Ferry Terminal where there's some restaurants and shopping by the waterfront or take it the other way to check out downtown Jersey City.

It's not a trip to NY if you're a first timer without checking out the Statue of Liberty. We recommend buying your tickets online directly at https://www.statuecruises.com/statue-liberty-and-ellis-island-tickets/#/ It's cheaper than the guys trying to sell you tickets on the street and you get access to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Easiest way to get to the Statue Cruises is to go downtown to World Trade Center and then walk along the beautiful Hudson waterfront until you get to Castle Clinton where you'll see the markings for the Ferry

Right around the corner of the apartment and down a block on 2nd street is Hot House Pizza. This is a local favorite for some good pizza if you don't feel like going to Grimaldi's or any of the other authentically Italian pizzeria's in Hoboken.
