(631) 725 - 0900. This place attracts a younger crowd. But for an early dinner, especially outside, would be fine for a family including toddlers. They have a wood oven in which they make their own French bread, so I recommend the mussels, with the bread to soak up the sauce. I also recommend the pizzas.

63 Main St(631) 725 - 1810. This restaurant is consistently good. One of my friends ordered their Prime NY strip, and said it was the best he had ever had. (631) 259 - 2222. This is surprisingly good Indian Food, and is one of my favorites. It has many vegetarian options, and an early dinner would be toddler friendly. I tend to order the vegetarian, but I have been there with friends who have ordered the meat options, and they were very happy. The staff is also lovely, and if indoor dining is possible, the decor is simple and lovely.

1746 County Rd 39(631) 259 - 2222. This is surprisingly good Indian Food, and is one of my favorites. It has many vegetarian options, and an early dinner would be toddler friendly. I tend to order the vegetarian, but I have been there with friends who have ordered the meat options, and they were very happy. The staff is also lovely, and if indoor dining is possible, the decor is simple and lovely.
(631) 725 - 3535. This is a classic, local place. The bar scene tends to be a more mature crowd. If you are here during scallop season, which is not until November, you have to at least go to the bar and order a small plate of their scallops. They are excellently prepared, in a sauce with some special ingredient that I have yet to discern. Maybe you can get one of the bartenders to fill you in.

If you are here during scallop season, which is not until November, you have to at least go to the bar and order a small plate of their scallops. They are excellently prepared, in a sauce with some special ingredient that I have yet to discern. Maybe you can get one of the bartenders to fill you in.
