Parthenon is a very small village in Sithonia, right opposite Marmaras. The village is about 30 minutes driving from Nikiti. Parthenon offers marvelous view of Marmaras coast. Finally there are a couple of taverns in the village which offer traditional good Greek food and a coffee house where you enjoy your coffee watching the sunset or just the view of the sea!!!!

Ormos Panagias is a small Port which offers excellent options for fresh fish restaurants. I would recommend one to take the boat from Ormos and navigate around Mount Athos, which is a wonderful daily cruise to do.

Just recently two marvelous water parks for children were open right in the sea os Nikiti village!!!
Children seam to really enjoy them selves there!!!!❤

Mount Athos
Athos is the sacred place of Christian Orthodoxs. The entrance is allowed only to men. Still one can have a glimpse by taking the daily cruise from Ormos Panagias, the small port which is just 10 minutes driving from Nikiti. If you plan to come with no car just pick up a taxi from Nikiti to get you to Ormos and have the cruise. It does worth it!!!

In case you decide to enjoy yourself by taking the daily cruise around Athos please book in advance your tickets. The particular cruise tends to be very popular.

Nikiti old village
Nikiti except of the wonderful sea and beach, has to offer much more. Right up the main street is the old village climbed on a small cliff. The houses there are mostly covered with stone, the streets are quite during the day and St. Nikitas church on the top of the cliff offers a beautiful view of Nikiti as a whole. Nikiti old village is a fairly tale village, during the night you can enjoy your drink in Barcarola coffee and drink shop under old trees. There is even a small tavern there with traditional Greek food. Enjoy!!!❤

Flea market
The local flea market is taking place every Friday morning. It is taking place right next to the main street close to the traffic lights. Fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts of all kinds, olive oils and fish are sold there in good prices.

On the go
In order to get to Nikiti you can either rent a car from the airport or a taxi. I can reccomend taxi drivers from Nikiti to pick you up from the airport.
There're also car rental companies in the village of Nikiti if you want to visit the various beaches of Sithonia.
