If you want to learn skiing, the "Biały Krzyż" skiing slope located at the Salmopol pass is a good place. It's a really flat and friendly run. You can rent skis and hire a skiing instructor on the spot as well. There's a great regional food right next to the slope in "Karczma na Białym Krzyżu" so you don't need to move anywhere if you're hungry. The views from Salmopol are wonderful too.
