Take a boat trip to Carlingford. Carlingford was occupied in the 12th century by Norman knight Hugh de Lacy after laying the foundation stone for a castle on a strategic outcrop of rock. A settlement sprang up close to this fortress. The castle is known by the name of King John's Castle following a visit in the year 1210. The castle is an extensive ruin seated on a solid rock - the sides of which are enclosed by the sea. Mountains rise on the inland side, at the foot of which is a narrow pass which was formerly commanded by the fortress.

All the creatures here love to be fussed over. You can bottle-feed lambs, give a goat a tasty treat, stroke bunnies and guinea pigs - even say hello to Summer the donkey! The team stress the importance of learning about the animals. They all have personalities so take the time to get to know them, which is easy when they’re as cute as this!
You can explore the surrounding countryside, as well as enjoy a brand new covered play area with slides and a purpose-built outdoor play fort! Kids will love one of their bumpy birthday barrel rides, almost as much as their parents with parties here being an easy, stress-free option.
