This is a great spot on the water and on the Wharf. Good food and refreshments. Patio overlooking the bay, enjoy looking at the Oyster Harvesters that still go out in dories and hand harvest them on a daily basis.

If you ever want to know a little more about the renowned Malpeque Oysters from PEI this is a great place to try different recipes and learn a bit how they are prepared! The Oysters are shucked in the main area and the restaurant is on the Malpeque Wharf a good place to visit. This is a principal area where all the lobster fisherman come in and out on a daily basis and you would definitely see fishing boats there. Nearby is a the Cabot Provincial Park with a lifeguard supervised beach.
TIP#1 Malpeque Oysters are available all over the Island but this is the area that is mostly referenced as the authentic Malpeque Oyster from Malpeque Bay .

The Oyster Barn is quite small and gets busy during peek summer months. Be prepared to eat while standing! Not sure if they take reservations but definitely something to look into before going.
