A famous cachaça destillerie. The spot is a few km away from town, in front of the ocean, amazing view and going there you will get the chance to learn how the cachaça is made, tasty it and know Maria Isabel, the owner and producer of it. She is an interesting woman.

Perfect to enjoy the sunset and feel gratitude.

At Pontal beach, intown. The water is not that good for swimming, but the kids play around, the family eatS good sea food dishes and everybody relaxes. Good price.
On saturdays there is live music in the afternoon.

Have you eaten tapioca? It is a traditional dish from Nordeste, made out of manioc. Go there and try it. It is worth it.

This waterfall, also known as “Cachoeira da Penha”, is located at the Paraty-Cunha Road, near to the Headquarters of the Gold Path Touristic Information Center and to “Igreja da Penha” (“Penha´s Church”).
There´s a signalized trail to get to the waterfall and to the Poço do Tarzan and its restaurant.

Toboggan waterfall and Tarzan Pit
This waterfall, also known as “Cachoeira da Penha”, is located at the Paraty-Cunha Road, near to the Headquarters of the Gold Path Touristic Information Center and to “Igreja da Penha” (“Penha´s Church”).

This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Paraty. On the Paraty-Cunha Road, after the White Bridge (Pedra Branca) , stay on the right, until the end. There you´ll find a trail that leads to this paradyse.
Along with the waterfall, there are the ruins of the town´s first power plant.

For those who like hiking and surfing.
On your way back, you can hike or rent a boat.
If you prefer, take the boat both ways.

A traditional fisherman vilage. From Paraty you ride to Condomínio Laranjeiras and from there a 1 hour hike in the middle of the Atlantic Rain Forest to reach Praia do Sono.
For those who like hiking and surfing.
On your way back, you can hike or rent a boat.
If you prefer, take the boat both ways.
Beautiful view, calm water, local food, relaxing place.
For those who like snorkel, SUP, kayaking and hikes.

There are 4 beaches with diferent characteristics: for those who like surfing, hiking, beches, waterfall and home made food.
During high season it gets crowded. Avoid it.

mamanguá is considerd the brazilian fiorde. You ride to Paraty Mirim and from there you take a small boat to Mamanguá.
There you can just comtemplate the amazing view, snorkel, kayak and, for those who like and adventure, hike to Pâo de Açúcar.
Hike in the middle of the forest to a 440 meters high mountain. From there you have a breath taking.

Perfect to go with the familiy, beautiful , long extension beach with two rivers flowwing to the ocean in each side of the beach.
There are no kiosks, so take you food and drinks with you.
Take a sun umbrella with you, no shades there.
One of my favorite spots to go with the kids.
