This vineyard has amazing pizzas and fairly good wine. it is affordable and has a laid back vibe. This is one of my favorites for sure!

This restaurant is super charged with historic significance, it is where the NFL started after all! Benders is very classy and a reservation is a must! Great service and local staple!

They serve alcohol at ungodly hours lol. The town is full of blue collar workers, some of which work swing shift, so it is not uncommon for someone to be drinking beer at 8 am. The food is served as is, no customizations, but it is a local favorite.

If you are travelling through Massillon on a bike, Ernies is a must. They have scheduled biking events, kayaking and canoeing down the Tusc and are an excellent resource for biking needs and repair. Also in the plaza is access to a Trailhead as well as the Blue Heron Cafe. Ernies has it all!

Drinking town with a football problem
The first and longest living football rivalry is between the high school teams: Washington Massillon Tigers and McKinley Bulldogs. You are staying in Tiger town and the town takes this rivalry very seriously. The annual game between the two teams is always the last of the regular season and it is a site to behold, parades, celebrations, competitions. There is a lot of partying in the town too. Be careful and always support the Tigers ;)
