The new spectacular museum building The Twist opened 18th of september 2019. It twists into an “impossible form” and spans 60 meters across the Randselva river. The building is a museum, sculpture and bridge – all in one and is designed by world renowned architects Bjarke Ingels Group BIG. Both Bloomberg and The Telegraph has named ´The Twist` one of the most beautiful and exciting buildings to open this year. Set in the middle of the Kistefos sculpture park, the 15,000-square-foot structure is already on the must-see list for art and architecture lovers everywhere. Bloomberg

Food culture

A gem by the Randsfjord. Nice, knowledgeable staff very good food and a location that can compete with the best eateries in Europe. We always return here, all year round, but of course summer and outdoor seating are the very best when the location is so great.

Aquatic Centre

Ringeriksbadet – the great aquatic centre of the Ringerike district. We are open 350 days a year and offer fun and exercise for everyone. Here you can find swimming courses for babies and children of all ages and we also arrange children’s birthdays to celebrate their special day. For adults we offer adult swimming classes for the beginner or to improve your skills and water aerobics for a fun and effective workout. Afterwards relax in our heated sauna and
