Walks around the River Cuckmere and village
A gentle stroll around the village enjoying the many independent shops, enjoy a pub lunch or cream tea. Take a picnic for an all day yomp, whichever you like this is ideal for you.
If your taste are more adventurous, the opportunities for walking or cycling (there are two bike hire companies nearby) are endless. There's paddle boarding hire from the Seven Sisters Visitors Centre, and people can paddle on the stunning Meanders for many months of the year.
We have the South Downs Way, Friston Forest and the iconic Seven Sisters/Cuckmere Haven. Great walks taking in pubs, or nearby Charleston Farmhouse home of the Bloomsbury Set, or Firle Place with it's glorious parkland. The choices are so many you'll need to come back again and again.
