A lovely little 9 hole course just over a mile from the Lodge. Stunning views, ridiculously cheap and a real test once you've worked out where you are playing.

Letterkenny is 20-25 mins drive away and has everything you could want inc. a Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, M&S, Dunnes, Homebase, Halfords, Argos, etc.

There is a superb supermarket in Ramelton called Whorskeys which has almost anything you would need as it includes a diner, deli, bakery, ATM etc. Also try the butchers and barbers, both very good

Parks & Nature
An amazing spot about 45 mins drive from the Lodge. There are spectacular beaches, forest walks, children's playground, picnic areas, etc. and is a brilliant place to spend a day as it is outstanding!

Food Scene
Belle's Kitchen in Rathmullan is a real treat for the family and we highly recommend the scampi and the panckaes, firm family favourites! A couple of doors down is An Bonnan Bui which is a cafe & bistro which is also well thought of and a good reputation, our pick would always be Belles though. In the main Rathmullan car park is the 'Country Diner' which is a chip van/takeaway which splits opinion in our house but is a good option for fast food or late fish and chip supper, it's open 5pm til late.

The tap house at the hotel does some excellent pizzas with beer from the local Kinnegar brewery. Not cheap and a tad pretentious for some people's taste but no doubting how tasty the pizzas are! The main hotel restaurant offers a far more formal dining experience and is priced accordingly. It is also popular with visitors though you don't see too many locals are there.....

Sarah's on the beach front is a great spot and also serves some good food, very family friendly and nice lunch spot
