This bar hasn't changed it's decor since the 70's. I would know because I worked there when I was 21 (that was many moons ago). They've managed to keep the original bar in great condition along with the swivel bar stools. They book a wide variety of local musicians and they have an open mike during the week.

Here is a link of a map for the bus ride downtown. You would walk approximately 3 blocks to Aurora Avenue. When leaving the house, walk 1 block (heading south) to Interlake Avenue, turn right (heading west) to Aurora Avenue.
