Legendary Horse Racing
Churchill Downs is a must for travelers visiting Lousiville. Most go to watch the races for Derby, but those who live in the city know that there is a much better way to see this iconic place without so many tourists. Thurby, which is an event only locals know about, is a less crowded and less expensive way to watch the horse race. It is only 10 dollars for admission and the best way to dress is business casual! There is Oaks day as well which is more crowded than Thurby but it is a fun place to go if you are looking to dress up and drink a bit.

There is an excellent selection of beer and other alcoholic drinks and your stomach will surely be hurting from laughing too much by the time you leave.
