La-makaan is a place for those who are fond of meeting people or groups engaged in arts, culture, theater etc. Its a good hangout for some productive networking and meaningful entertainment. There are lot of programs going on all through the day. you can visit their website to checkout the day's schedule or simply visit the place and at the entrance you will find a blackboard that shows the schedule for the day. There is also a canteen that serves good food at a reasonable price.

Ola, uber cab's or bikes is the best choice to move around.
Ola or uber cab's or bikes are a better choice to travel locally. There are Auto's also available but these days they dont play by meter. So if you still wish to take an auto then better go for Ola Auto. It's good to walk for short distances if you can . We have metros but you will have to travel at least 3 kms to get the nearest metro station. Nearest metro station from our properties is Irrum Manzil.

Sunday morning Organic Bazar at Lamakaan
Lamakaan is an open cultural space. There are a lots of programs happening there every day. Monday its closed. Sunday morning Organic bazar. Wednesday evening Bazm e Urdu (Urdu class) and theatre, music, drama on rest of the days are few of my favourite things.
Other than Salarjung Museum you must see the Nizams Mueseum which often people ignore. It's a lovely small Meuseum. Closed on Fridays and same is the case with chowmahalla palace. Include them in your list
Not to forget the morning / evening walks at the KBR National Park if you would love to see a lot of peacocks crossing your path.
