On the highest spot of Pelekas Village, on a huge cliff, there is a monument called Kaiser’s Throne, a name given from the German Emperor Wilhelm the Second, who used to observe Corfu’s natural beauty every time he wished to escape from his routine. The idyllic sunset and the unique panoramic view will definitely stay vivid in your minds while the sun will sink into the sea and Corfu will constantly switch colours from one minute to the other. A truly majestic experience you do not want to lose!

A charming little fishing village 20 km from us, with a traditional port. Tourism has of course had its influence, but you can still find local fishermen bringing home the morning catch down at the harbour. The town and surrounding area offers something for everyone. The Harbour and the busy town centre is offset by the quiet and tranquillity of a short walk around the headland. From the left of the harbour towards the top end of the town, takes you to the main coastal road. Don't miss this walk around...

The beach of Pelekas or Beach Kontogialos is located ( 60 minutes with a car from us ) below the village Pelekas with the famous sunset. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu. Over 30 meters is generally quiet and, because of the shallow waters, ideal for families with children while the turquoise waters are among the cleanest in the Ionian Sea.

In a little cove near Paleokastritsa, called "La Grotta" where our beach bar stands here since the 60s. It was built between the rocks from which brave swimmers use to dive. The bar is open all summer long from morning until late at night so you can have an exotic cocktail overlooking the illuminated bay down below. A beautiful and fun day out, especially if you don't like getting sandy!
