Otterspool is absolutely stunning and gives you a perfect view across the Mersey over to Wirral. There is a cafe, restaurant and adventure playground for children as well as a free outdoor gym facility and some stunning walking trails with the Mersey front leading all the way into the Albert Dock at the city centre.

Sefton Park is one of Merseyside's most loved parks and for so many good reasons. Complete with a lakeside cafe, palm house, band stand, waterfalls, streams, free outdoor gym circuit, fairy glenn, adventure playgrounds, free tennis courts, bowling greens, secluded basking spots, plenty of open air fields and plenty go walking trails it really is a magical place with spectacular views all year round filled with an abundance of local wild life. It is also home to some of Merseyside's biggest festival such as Africa Oye and LIMF and hosts weekly artisan style events in the Palm House.

On The Pallette and Monkey Grinder serve up delicious fanciful slider menus or if your after something more home baked and affordable try out the infamous Keiths Wine bar. For the best cocktails in the area, Love & Rockets is the place to go. Check out the weekly flea market and arts fair at the Old Police Station and the monthly Farmers market on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
