Seattle supposedly has more Thai restaurants per capita than any other US city. This one in the Lake City neighborhood is a little gem--though it's sadly better for takeout since they added a very loud kitchen exhaust fan a while back.

Another great ferry trip. Park in downtown Edmonds and hop the ferry to Kingston as a walk-on passenger. Enjoy some ice cream or coffee -- and maybe even a movie at the Firehouse Theater -- in Kingston, then come back to Edmonds for more fun exploring along the waterfront and downtown.

Landmark's last outpost in Seattle, this place shows both blockbuster and indie films at bargain prices. It's well-worn but awesome. Leg room is a bit tight in the smaller, art-house screening rooms, so get there early for the best seats.

Great indie movie house with two screens. One usually has a big-budget release; the other tends toward smaller, more thought-provoking fare. Run by film buffs, for film buffs. An easy walk from the Kingston ferry dock.

One of the best MLB ballparks. Go for a Mariners game, take a tour, or both. Good atmosphere, fun giveaways, tons of food and drink options, frequent ticket specials at mariners.com. And no rainouts, since there's an open-sided roof that can roll into place as needed.

This place is hard to define! Among the latest in the McMenamin's chain of historically significant restaurants, pubs, hotels, etc., it includes several restaurants, a sports bar, a movie theater, and even a swimming pool. Go have a look around the former school building (now a hotel) and enjoy a meal.
