Excellent place to mingle with the locals! However if you’re a “picky person” that likes to complain about everything! And then don’t come here! Delicious food! Friendly Staff! And very cheap! Highly recommend!!

They have the best Pad Thai in the world to be honest. As well as the grilled lamb but not the place because it has no aircond and with open air concept and obviously you will get sweat while having your dinner. It opens quite late in the evening until late night if I am not mistaken.

When you are done with KLCC and its noise and traffic, this is a must do. You are in Kampung Baru a settlement which has (up to now) managed to keep the original Malay single family house setting. Wanjo is popular for its Nasi Lemak. The place is a typical open air (with a roof and fans), plastic chair, formica table setting. Menu is pretty simple : you have a plate with rice, egg, cucumber, dried anchovies and sambal and choose what meat you want to add (from the safe chicken to the more adventurous cow lung skewers). Great taste, super cheap price.

Very interesting concept. Dining in a plane. The whole experience of checking in, waiting at the lounge and then boarding. There were some photo taking at the engine, walking on the wing and then photo in the cockpit. Pretty interesting. The food was pretty good too.

Being a coffee lover, one to explore the best possibility of having a good cup of coffee whenever possible, especially if it is your first one of the day. "Bean Belt" cafe located beside the famous Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Feel in love from the first sip, the foam, the temperature, the smell and of course the taste. Coffee lovers haven is what it should be named. It does not matter how you take your coffee, the foundation of coffee taste is impeccable. Origin of the coffee beans is from Aceh, Indonesia. Even the simple menu served for breakfast or all day brunch are brilliantly served by friendly staffs. Although the Bean Belt is only open from Monday through Friday, they have a new branch that is open all through the week at KL Eco City, Tower 3. Call me coffee crazy as I do go out of my way to enjoy one of the best coffee places in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and for me, it is the "Bean Belt". Don't take my word for it, just try it yourself when the craving gets too much.

If you are in the hunt for the most delicious and authentic Korean food, this restaurant is the answer. Kung Jung is run by a Korean family for more than 20 years and the taste is absolutely awesome. And its offers the best "panchan" (side dish) also. My recommendation would be sundubu chigae and also chateol peggi for the meat.

Nothing gets better than a bowl of cendol to beat the hot weather in Malaysia. This popular dessert can be commonly found almost everywhere, from roadside stalls to restaurants. Just like any popular classic Malaysian dishes, every so often people come up with a creative twist to it. For RM13, you will get a huge bowl of cendol with 6 durian fruits. We were served durian kampung, the most common durians in the market which planted in a village. Although not as fleshier as Musang King or D24, the durian was quite flavoursome.

Being able to hike in a jungle canopy with city views was really stunning! Extra bonus there is wild monkeys in the trees so makes for extra excitement for the kids. Felt like we were completely removed from the city until you walk around a corner on the suspension bridges and see parts of the city skyline.

Tabur Hill offer nice hiking and rock climbing experience for anyone who scale this hill. Tabur Hill, even with all the accident reports, I would still consider this side of the hill (west side) to be very safe as long as the hiker know his or her limit and know what he or she is doing. Do note, I would not recommend this hill to be the first hiking trip for any new hiker but go ahead if only you feel confident and would also not encourage hiking on the mountain while raining or right after the rain as the rock will be slippery.

It has been proven by science that eating outdoors makes a person happier. BBQ Lamb KL Kemensah provides customers with the ultimate outdoor dining experience, by having table settings in the river itself. If you’re thinking you (or the food) will be washed away, don’t worry. The tables and chairs are situated in the low current area of the river, so the water only runs across your feet.

When you arrive at the gates, you are immediately mortified by the amount of people wanting to get in. However, once you push through the crowds and get inside, you are immediately in awe of the size of the avery. If you are a bird lover, as we are, this will be the highlight of your visit to KL. You basically walk around the perimeter of the Avery, the birds are flying free and walking around you. It’s truly amazing. There are a few of the more aggressive birds, such as owls and eagles that are in their own containment, given they would eat the rest of the free birds.

The Batu Caves entrance fee is free. However, there are a few smaller caves nearby which can be visited. The fee for visiting these caves is between 5 and 10 MYR. Dress respectfully. Similar to most temples in Southeast Asia, you are not allowed inside if you are wearing short pants or short skirts. The best option is to bring a large scarf with you and tie it around your waist when entering the temple. If you don’t have a scarf, you can rent one at the entrance of Batu Caves for 5 MYR. Don’t bring food with you. There are many monkeys at Batu Caves and if they notice that you have food with you, they can get pretty aggressive. Also, make sure to not look directly into monkeys’ eyes as this is perceived as a sign of attack.

There is a waterfall too if you wanna take a bath or even have a peace moment after the tough hiking but to reach there you have to walk through the challenges trail too for 30 mins. Small streamline on the way makes you feel peaceful! Please try to keep off the root of trees to protect them.
