Handa or Handa Island is an island off the west coast of Sutherland, Scotland. It is 309 hectares and 123 metres at its highest point. The island is of national importance for its birdlife and maritime vegetation, and is a Scottish Wildlife Trust nature reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and a Special Protection Area. Handa also forms part of the North-West Sutherland national scenic area, one of 40 such areas in Scotland. Enjoy the scenery as you head to Tarbet for boat trip to Handa Island. A picnic lunch is advised but there is a small restaurant at Tarbet

Ullapool in a only 1 hr trip to the West of the Highland, in the summer months it is a bustling seaside village with plenty of cafes, restaurants and touristy shops. Take advantage of the boat trips that go out to view neighbouring islands and ferries sail to the Western Isles. A fish supper is a must in Ullapool from any of the chip shops!

Dornoch is best known for it's Golf Course, Beach & Cathedral and also the tourist shops and restaurants/cafes, the Dornoch Jail is a must to shop and eat!
