This city is about an hour and a half away but if you are staying at the house for a couple of weeks it’s well worth the visit.
We had the best crepes there and was just a treat to look around .

About 40mins away this is a lovely town full of art works to see and is based along the river . Nice to have a drink or a lunch at one of the cafes by the river .
The artist Paul Gauguin spent extended periods at Pont-Aven in the late 1880’s and the art scene has continued there.

Just over 30 mins away in land you you can walk around Huelgoat, the magical Forêt d'Huelgoat has unusual rock formations and fascinating myths and legends linked to it.

Surfing
If you enjoy surfing like I do I will always try and get out to this beach.
You can rent a board from the surf school near the car park and walk down to the beach.
