Great local Restaurants
Here is a lost of some of my favorite local restaurants. I would AVOID the following restaurants:
Dylan's Burger and Poutine (you're better off to BBQ)
New Dynasty Chinese (has been shut down by health regulations numerous times)
Luigi's North (head to the Luigi's South on Mayor Magrath instead if you're keen, but it's not my go -to)
Small and cozy with great food. They have a small menu but their attention to detail is great. I always leave happy. Make sure you ask to sign the guestbook! Wednesday is half price wine night $$$

Would recommend a reservation. French style cuisine. If you can talk someone into sharing the whole beef tenderloin with you you won't be disappointed. $$$

Browns is a kid-friendly pub style restaurant that serves up great food. I have a few favorites that include the Dragon Bowl, and the Cod Crusted Spa bowl (you can make it low carb by subbing the rice for red braised cabbage and goat cheese!! Do it! )$$
Browns Socialhouse Lethbridge West
334 University Drive WestBrowns is a kid-friendly pub style restaurant that serves up great food. I have a few favorites that include the Dragon Bowl, and the Cod Crusted Spa bowl (you can make it low carb by subbing the rice for red braised cabbage and goat cheese!! Do it! )$$
Original Joe's allows kids until 9pm. Pub style dining with a nice patio in the summer months. I frequent this place so much that if you name drop me you might get a discount (kidding... maybe). Fave menu items include the brussel sprouts, salmon and steak bites, drunken noodles, the Kona burger, and pretty much everything else. Food is good. Great nightly drink specials and happy hour pricing from 3-6pm and 9pm to close every day $$

O-Sho Japanese Restaurant
311 4 St STraditional Japanese sushi house and lounge. $$
My fave East Indian place in town. They have a terrible wine list so if you plan on enjoying a glass of wine with dinner I sometimes opt for take out or delivery and enjoy it at home! $$

The best feature of this restaurant is the decor and the fact that it is situated 100 feet in the air. Cool views. There is a lounge and a restaurant and kids are allowed in both. Happy hour specials from 5-6 in the lounge are a good price! I have had a couple hit or miss meals here but overall I've been happy with the atmosphere and the service and it's a fun place to go and look at the views of Lethbridge.

This restaurant is close to the house on the West side of Lethbridge. Great for take-out, but there are some sit down tables as well. They are closed Monday's. Not licensed for alcohol.
