Live their sweet potato waffle fries. They also have great specialty cocktails and thick shakes.

There are three locations with two being close but if I had to chose I’d go to magazine street one because it is close to shops and has a bigger outdoor space. If I was with a big group and need more space I’d go to the Freret location. Both have great outdoor space to eat at. The debris fries are hangover cure or just a great glutinous share with a friend. Great beers on tap to choose from too.

It is a French restaurant that looks like it was the plucked from a side street in Paris. It has a romantic but family like atmosphere. Love their French onion soup, French onion crepe and all of their desert crepes. Yummy escargot and wonderful bread to dip in the garlic sauce. More dressy causal.
If you are a foodie and have a list of places you should eat before you die. This restaurant is in your top three. It is by reservation only and has a strict dress code. I recommend eating at lunch and being prepared to spend three wonderful hours of the best food and service in town. They also have 25 cent martinis at lunch time, go ahead and order but be aware that it is not top shelf being used. I have ordered taken a sip and then ordered a regular cocktail instead. Love their French 75. I also love the banana’s foster, they bring out to the table and cook with the very dramatic flare, but this is a two persons desert, other great desert are the bread pudding and strawberry shortcake, both of which taken about thirty minutes to prepare and should be ordered at the beginning of the meal to allow for perfect timing.

Think of it as a really awesome New Orleanian birthday cake. It is brought to your table and dramatically prepared! But don’t worry if you don’t get to eat in the Rex room, you are welcomed to walk around and look at the other dining rooms such as the Proteus room or the mystery room. They also have a great bar in the front you can stop by for a quick drink. It’s called the Hermès bar. These are all names of Mardi Gras Krewes and they have beautiful displays of some of the past krewes and parades. (Krewe of Rex, Krewe of Proteus, Krewe of Hermès, and in the Hermès bar some of Krewe of Iris! Hail Iris!)
