Less than 5 minutes from the house, it's easy to spend a whole day. Or catch a famous or interesting author in the evenings for talks.

This is where the young "beautiful people" hang out - food trucks, quirky coffee shops (Frothy Monkey, etc.), Reese Witherspoon's flagship store Draper James for all things classically Southern, sit out in the sun and people watch at the ever-popular Bar Taco, or enjoy delicious burgers at Burgers Up (great kale salad too!) So many other charming shops and restaurants - plan to wander. And, lore has it that Dolly Parton's recording studio is in the stucco house surrounded by stucco walls...but sometimes you can get a bit of a peak inside.

The menu is only locally fresh ingredients and only hand-made pastas. We always let the server choose 1/2 of our dishes and we choose the other half and share. Nice bar and some wonderful outdoor seating in good weather.

The menu is only locally fresh ingredients and only hand-made pastas. We always let the server choose 1/2 of our dishes and we choose the other half and share. Nice bar and some wonderful outdoor seating in good weather.

Fabu gift shop, Thistle Farms (luxurious lotions and potions made by former victims of sex trade who are in recovery), the wonderful and quirky Cafe at Thistle Farms - with tea cups hanging, sent from fans all the over the world, and you'll be waited on women graduating from Thistle Farms program and volunteers. M.L. Rose with outdoor picnic tables is a great place to grab a burger, fried pickles and a beer!
