For an enjoyable side trip while in Chico, check out local area wine tasting. Indian Peak Vineyards is a great stop situated in Manton, CA - about 30 minutes from Red Bluff, on the way to Lassen National Park. Fred is a wonderful host and has some very tasty red and white wine in addition to a very smooth Port. He is open all week. Other vineyards in the area are open on the weekends only.
