Just walking distance from our home is a beautiful park, well is massive 114 acres, 46.13 hectares. You can walk or jog for hours in there, have a coffee at the park cafe, do some gym work in the open equipment available or just have wonderful picnics. Is like been in the middle of the countryside but on our doorstep. There is a tram stop at the very park and if after your walk you feel like changing the scene you can take the tram all the way to Wimbledon, which only takes 25 minutes.

Ideal place for winter days, restaurants and cafes inside, also a cinema. Right opposite Centrale is the old Whitgift Centre Mall again with more shops and facilities. All within walking distance from our home, no need to take a bus or bother about parking anywhere.

Getting Around
East Croydon is the main railway station near our home and connects you with different parts of London and other counties. It takes 15 minutes to Victoria station or London Bridge. Also from East Croydon you take the Thames Link train that takes you into the City of London, North London and St Pancras International station, from where you take the trains to France. Also you can change at Clapham Junction for more connections with the West and other parts of the country. From Gatwick airport it takes 15 minutes to East Croydon station. From Heathrow airport take the X26 bus (so cheap) from Heathrow Central Bus Station which leaves you right outside East Croydon station. Also you can get to the sea in 30 minutes from our station. ALSO BE AWARE that some travel agents sell very cheap air ticket to London but they arrive at Stansted airport, which is far away from the capital, plus the cost of the train ticket from Stansted to London is probably more expensive than what you paid for your air ticket...

This is one of the National Trust properties, the former home of Winston Churchill, beautiful scenery surrounded by true English countryside and our history. Is only 12 miles from our home, situated in Westerham which offers some good eating places and boutique shops away from the loud crowds.
