Mediterranean cuisine, fine dinning. One of the best restaurants in Split, since 2018 it is in Michelin catalog, for now without the star, but I certainly believe that this Michelin star will come soon. The menus are carefully selected based on seasonality of the ingredients. Highly recommended. The view from their terrace is amazing, because the restaurant itself is located on the walls of Diocletian's palace. From the apartment you have around 10 min on foot.

In my opinion it is the best fish restaurant in Split. Located on the old fish-market it serves only fish caught by local fishermen. I would definitely suggest a visit to Noštromo. It is around 10 min on foot from Villa Aurora.

Nostradamus is my choice for a coffee in Split, the way locals have it. The place is beautifully furnished with Tomislav Ivic memorabilia (worldwide famous football coach). On Bacvice beach you will find plenty of options for your night out. Bars, clubs, and restaurants work late, and Bacvice is probabla the option to go out in Split. From the apartment you have around 20 min on foot, but the walk is really nice, and you will pass the Riva coast on your way there.

Of course Diocletian's palace is the most famous monument in Split. It is part of UNESCO World Heritage, and one of the largest ancient inhabited palaces in the world. It is less than 10 min walk from your apartment. Inside the palace there are many sights which you can explore such as one of the sphinx from ancient Egypt, that was a gift for Roman Emperor Diocletian.
