The Harbor Cafe is a great place to eat while in Stonington. Great breakfast and down home food.
44 North is the place to go for coffee, they even roast their own coffee and have beans for sale.
Aragosta requires reservations but if you are able to get them, you will experience amazing food and ambiance!

There is a boat ramp at the Sedgwick town landing and also one at Walkers Pond, both are free for public use. These are both great places to sail, kayak or canoe! Walker's Pond is also a great place to swim.

Traveling to Isle au Haut Maine is my absolute top recommendation for guests who want to see this part of Maine from the water. There is a portion of Acadia National Park on Isle au Haut that most people who visit Acadia miss. The hiking trails are great and the amazing views are worth the effort. To get there, you drive to Stonington to catch the ferry (about 30 minutes drive), during which you will travel over a suspension bridge onto Little Deer Isle, then cross a causeway (water on both sides of the road) to Deer Isle. You continue driving until you reach Stonington, and catch the ferry. Check schedules and fares at Isleauhautferry.com

Pumpkin Island lighthouse is just off Little Deer Isle and offers photographers quite a view, not only of the lighthouse but also towards the Camden Hills. The lighthouse is on Pumpkin Island, at the northwestern entrance to Eggemoggin Reach, a channel running northwest to southeast between Penobscot Bay and Blue Hill Bay. The light station was established in 1854.
