Chapins is a must! A nice place to go for either a tasty and budget friendly lunch or dinner, or just drinks. There is outdoor seating as well as an outdoor bar and occasionally a raw bar. They are known for their shipwreck margaritas and frozen mudslides. A nice place to go for live music, good food and drinks, either after a day at the beach or a night out. Expect valet parking at night.

This place is great for coffee, pastries, and a few healthy lunch options. It is a bit more on the pricey side, but worth it. Also a nice place to have lunch in Hyannis that's away from the mall! Usually there are seats available at the bar and/or high tops available. Dinner also offers unique specials and fine cuisine, again a bit more on the pricey side, but the unique atmosphere, with open windows into the on-site bakery, is unique in that you may feel like you are not on Cape Cod, but in Europe instead. Especially good if you're looking for a break from fried clams! Best for either a romantic date night or with a small group of friends. Outdoor seating is available as well.

The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a paved recreational path that runs from South Dennis through Wellfleet along the abandoned Penn Central Railway. It is 26 miles in length and travels through some of the most picturesque scenery on Cape Cod. Beautiful forests, kettle ponds and salt marshes are all sights to be enjoyed along the trail. Plenty of nearby bike shops to rent a bike for the day as well.
