This is one of the longest consecutive stretches of historically registered buildings in MN. Take in the architecture and beauty of Broadway. Of special interest is the Freeborn Bank building, located at 201 South Broadway. This is the tallest building downtown and was constructed in 1922. The building was originally constructed as a bank on the first floor and medical and professional offices on the upper three floors and was called the Medical Arts Building. The structure of the building is concrete post and beam. Next to it, the Jacobson building’s first two floors were constructed in 1888.
