For those special occasions and late night dining, DeeVeena's is the place to go for fine dining. People drive over an hour to eat here and the reputation is 5-star. More upscale, so don't plan on dining in your swimsuits. ;)

Playa Negra is no longer a secret. The wave is recognized as one of the top waves of Latin America and is an intermediate to advanced level surfing spot. However, just to the south, closer to Casa Kalana is Sandy Beach which provides beginner level waves and general swimming. Safe for kids and novices but always take serious precautions when the surf is high.
