And when the tide goes out, the beach transforms into a magical place to explore tide pools, try your hand at skimboarding, fly a kite or build a sandcastle.

Lifeguards are on duty at Sullivan Point during the summer from 11am to 7pm. Here, you can enjoy two roped off areas for swimmers of all ages. To stay safe in the water, please follow these guidelines:
-Swim within the designated roped area
-Have young or inexperienced swimmers wear a lifejacket
-Keep your children within arm’s reach
-Be aware of currents, tides and water conditions - ask a lifeguard if you’re unsure
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beach from May 15 to September 15, with the exception of the designated off-leash area at Blackie Spit Park.
