Parks & Nature
The coast road to Carboneras & beyond has many options for walking as well as discovering hidden beaches & scenes used for films such as Lawrence of Arabia & Game of Thrones. Excellent food in Hotel/restaurant Las Palmas at the port end of the beach promenade.

Lorca is a vibrant town only 1 hour from Mojacar & has an old quarter around the Plaza de Espana with interesting heritage buildings. Lorca castle is stunning & is well worth a visit followed by a coffee at the neighbouring parador. If you are around for Semana Santa, or Holy Week, Lorca's processions are considered some of the best in Spain.
