Tarrytown Music Hall is located on Main Street downtown. It is a brick structure in the Queen Anne architectural style erected in the late 19th century. In 1980 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Music Hall is one of the busiest theaters in the region, offering the best in music, theater, dance, and film, and is a cultural destination, attracting well over 85,000 people including 25,000 children on an annual basis from all over the tri-state area.

Parks & Nature

The Old Croton Trail extends for 26.2 miles (42.2 km) in Westchester County, New York, providing public access along all but four segments – in the Getty Square neighborhood of downtown Yonkers, Tarrytown, Scarborough and Ossining – of the route of the aqueduct. It crosses the lawn of Lyndhurst, following the aqueduct's easement. The Trail enters New York City on the eastern side of Van Cortlandt Park and runs through the Bronx alongside Aqueduct Avenue, and the Aqueduct continues under the southern part of University Avenue.

It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1962. This cottage-like estate shows Dutch Colonial Revival, Scottish Gothic and Tudor Revival influences, with its instantly recognizable wisteria-covered entrance and jagged crow-stepped gable.

Trains leave for New York City every 25 to 35 minutes on weekdays. It is 24.5 miles (39.4 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to Grand Central is about 44 minutes (35 minutes express).
