Everything is vegetarian or vegan BUT meat-eating folks love this place as well. I have yet to find a better vegetarian spot in the city for an affordable quick bite. Great sandwiches, great dessert--all homemade.

Amazing Italian food--there pizza is fantastic. The restaurant can be busy but worth the wait.

The world's only pizza museum. Owned by a few friends and neighbors of ours, this is a unique experience. Pizza Brain is not only a great pizza shop with a truly unique tasting pie, but also houses the world's largest collection of pizza memorabilia (so confusing, right?)

Our good friends opened this place up a little over a year ago and they really did a lot of research on Russian cuisine. They brew all of their own beer and all food is handmade. Try the perogies!

Kayaks, paddleboats, ice skating in the winter, roller skating in the summer, hammocks (these are a mystery to me...how do they stay clean?), boardwalk with games, floating barge with restaurant and beer, beautiful lights at night. Again, another must-do :)

There is a very long path that is good for biking, walking, jogging, pushing a stroller that runs along the river. There are benches along the river where you can sit and read, munch or just watch the sun go down. Nice place to walk your dog or cat if your cat is into that type of thing.

Al Capone had a pretty snazzy cell here. Definitely worth the tour, also located around tons of shops and places to grab a bite or drink.

Small theatre with a handful of independent films playing. Great if you want to see something different than what is in your average theatre. There are several Ritz theatres that you can access online to see who is playing what--this one just happens to be one that we frequent.
