Thai is my fave, and these guys have it nailed! Maybe because they are actually Thai. Food is inexpensive but scrumptious if you like Thai food.

It can be accessed locally via Heaton Rd Quorrobolong which will take you straight up to the Heaton Lookout, Monkeyface Lookout and Boardinghouse Dam, which is a fantastic little out of the way spot to make you feel like you've really escaped the rat race.
