Orange has an amazing Roman amphitheatre and worth a visit. In the summer there are a series of classical/opera concerts. The market is on Thursdays and worth going to.

Sightseeing
If you are a keen cyclist then cycling up Mont Ventoux is iconic. If not take a drive, the views are wonderful. Malaucene at the bottom of the mountain is lovely and offers bicycle hire shops.

The rivers runs through the mont ventoux valley and the water is clear and refreshingly cold. You can hike through the river which is not very deep or picnic.
