Pompeii is the most expansive Roman town you can visit nowadays: before the eruption, this seaside town was home to approximately 11,000 people. Pompeii offers a look at Roman houses, temples, baths, gardens, and public areas, like the amphitheater. I suggest to reach the archeological area by train: the “Pompei - Villa dei Misteri” stop is just in front of the entrance to the site. Once you get there, the entrance fee is EUR 12. If you need, we can help with arranging a private guided tour. This service costs EUR 130, with a Pompei Official Guide.
