Moderate hike to some very nice views. Also recommend hiking a little further to the ice beds trail. The Appalachian trial is also a short hike from the picnic area.

Very nice place to spend a few hours seeing where a former President grew up and lived a major part of his life. STep back in time and explore this interesting historical site and his final resting place nearby.
