A great outing for the kids. You can purchase train rides or just walk along the trail and look at all the old trains. Afterward you can get ice cream at Snoqualmie Ice Cream Shop:)

Only a 5 minute drive from the house, the park has a nice beach where you can rent stand up paddle boards and kayaks. There is a playground for the little kids and sometimes you can see otter playing if you walk along the path by the river.

Amazing lebanese food with the best house made naan ever. Amazing views over the cascade mountain range. The restaraunt does not serve alcohol but has lots of other fun drinks. Don't miss the lebanese pizzas- the Cheese Man’oushe is my favorite.

Reservations required and check the conditions of the Snoqualmie pass before you head out to see if AWD is required. Great place to take the kids snow tubing and no walking back up the hills!

Leavenworth is a German themed town about 100 miles east on the other side of the mountains. It’s a breathtaking drive there and the town is beautifully decorated during the winter holidays but be mindful of the conditions on the passes before heading out.
