Intimate coffee shop on H St. Coffee originated in Ethiopia in an area called Kefa (Kefa = Coffee). Washington, DC has the largest Ethiopian community in the world outside of Ethiopia. On Sundays, they have an actual Ethiopian coffee ceremony which is a fascinating part of their culture. Coffee is good too.
