Spring Valley State Park

Park Minto-Brown Island
2200 Minto Island Rd SW20 minutes from the cabin.
Miller Woods Conservation Area
15580 NW Orchard View Rd30 minutes from the cabin.
Look out for stinging nettle on your hikes! It causes a sustained sting. Unless allergic it does not cause long term harm, it just hurts! You will find some near the trails.
You will also find an endless amount of blackberry bushes! Not poisonous, but they do have lots of thorns so beware.

Willamette Mission State Park is directly across the river from the cabin. Take the Wheatland Ferry across (two minute drive from the cabin) and parking is just on the other side of the ferry. You can also park your car at the ferry, and ride across. Pedestrians can cross for free. Cars cross for $3.
