From Zavala the old road leads east towards the village of Gromin Dolac below which there are series of perfectly clean, azure blue beaches. Stone houses, some built back in the 17th century as strongholds against pirates, the smells of dense pine forests, with the song of crickets and the calm beauty of nature, isolated and out of this world gorgeous. There are a lot of hidden beaches and a lot of privacy.

Šćedro is an island where time seems to have literally stood still for decades, and one can organise a water taxi from Zavala (I can help you with that). There is no mains electricity or running water, but as a retreat from the pressures of the modern world, it is unbeatable.

Continue along and Sveta Nedjelja comes into view. Famous for the island's best-known winemaker, Zlatan Otok. Noteworthy is "Bilo Idro", a seafood restaurant with interesting architecture, located just by the sea. Family of Zlatan Plenković, a famous winemaker, owns it - which makes it impossible to go wrong with the choice of wine. You must go there and try their famous wines and see beautiful small island „Veli Kamik“ . Magnificent place for taking pictures, and sunsets here are on another level.
The popular resort also has the best rock climbing on Hvar, a marina and an incredible church in a cave high above the village. And wine, wine, wine.

This bay is quite small and a really lovely place for swimming and snorkeling Just a bit above the Jagodna beach is a campsite, so it can be a bit crowded, especially in the high season. .
