Well, as the title says, this is where we like to grab a bite on Moorea.
Located very close to Villa Temoe (on the mountain-side, when going into Cook's Bay from the house). The pizzas are amazing and REALLY wood fire cooked.

The food is decent, the setting is fabulous. Coco Beach is located on the motu (islet) across from the hotel Les Tipaniers. A boat shuttle is available (make sure to reserve it) or you can also rent a small boat (no permit required) on the beach of Les Tipaniers, to go across to the motu. It gets completely booked on weekends so make sure to reserve early.

Towards the end of Cook's Bay, a very good French restaurant on the edge of the lagoon. You will see large nursing sharks and rays swim by while you eat. The thin crust apple pie is a must to finish your dinner.

Awesome setting to have a delicious crepe dinner (savery and sweet options) above the lagoon at the Hilton Hotel. Lagoon sharks will be cruising by, while you dine. Our favorite crepes are Papy Claude and Bounty.

Located at the end of Cook's Bay, "Chez Are" is super convenient, very clean and carries good quality and variety of meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables. This is where Cecile used to grocery shop with her mom when she was just a child...40 years ago.

Located on the other side of the bay where the ferries arrive from Tahiti (Vaiare). Champion is the largest supermarket on Moorea. This is the place where you go to fill up the trunk of your car with everything you need for your stay.

The Belvedere Lookout is beautiful. However if you are up for a short hike and want to see the luxuriant forrest and grand views of the agricultural valley and two bays; park and lock your car at the lookout (take some water with you) and go on either of the two well marked trails:

Beautiful public beaches
Two relatively close, postcard-like public beaches. They can be crowded on the weekend and almost empty during the week.
Located in Opunohu Bay, Ta’ahiamanu beach is stunning. White sand, turquoise water and a few sail boats anchored close by, to complete the picture of paradise.

Temae Beach is a beautiful white sand beach with turquoise water, and Tahiti in the background. It’s accessible from a decently flat dirt road. On weekends, there is a “roulotte” (food cart) that makes very good poke dishes.

A gorgeous 18-hole golf course designed by Nicklaus Design. It's a 5min car ride from Villa Temoe. It also has a unique aqua-driving range, over a lake, where you can practice using floating balls.
