The Chavez Community Center is a great fitness hub where you can pay as you go which is great for short term visitors to Santa Fe. They have a pool with a kiddy area for little ones.

This is the most beautiful dog park I've ever been to. Go on a short hike while your dog roams free. Beautiful views of the city and a friendly crowd. Lots of parking. There is a playground there too.
