Heartlands has a wonderful garden and a free to visit museum giving a great potted history of the mining heritage in Redruth & Camborne area. It is one of the very few free attractions in Cornwall, and I often walk to the garden from the house - takes about 40minutes.

A wonderful museum within walking distance from my house - although it is very much uphill!
The cafe attached to the museum - the Croust Hut is quite a hidden gem, providing wonderful meals - must try their breakfasts and brunches!
