Sandy Beach, the name is less a description of the shoreline and refers more to the carpet of soft sand that extends out into the lake from the water’s edge, making this beach very attractive to those with tender soles. The beach itself is a thin strip popular with locals, and is usually teeming with activity on a hot summer’s day. There are no lifeguards, but parking and portable toilets are on hand.
