Pete and Sarah are lovely landlords and look after everyone. The pub is frequented by friendly locals and visitors and serves good pub grub! I particularly recommend the chicken goujons and the burgers.

The cottage is on the foot of Moel Siabod and you can easily find the path on the ordnance survey maps where you can walk up to the summit from the village. Note to stop for lunch at the lake just below the summit.

15 minutes or so walk from the cottage, and beautiful views of Moel Siabod. Lovely short walk, and worth having a picnic on the grounds on a nice day.

Lovely small village with friendly locals, a pub, a hotel and a shop. And there's a castle! It is 10 minutes drive from Zipworld and 10 minutes or so to Betws, and half an hour drive to Snowdon.
