The best way to explore Stratford is probably on foot
Lovely walks - From the front door walk 10/15 paces diagonally right and you will find a small gate leading down some steps to the river. Turn left along the alleyway for a short cut (5 minutes) into town through the church grounds or turn right and head across the river on the walking bridge for a longer, lovely stroll (20 minutes) into town along the other side of the river.
