You are only 1 block from the beach!!! To get to the beach, all you have to do is walk one block east on 5th street to a small parking area with a boardwalk that takes you down to the beach! Each cross street has a parking area and boardwalk for public beach access! The city does require an hourly fee for parking however, it is free to walk! To get to 1000 Islands Park: Make a right on 5th Street. At the stop sign make a left onto Brevard. Then make a right on Ramp Road. The park is at the end of Ramp Road. It is approximately a 3 block walk from the condo. The park has a boat ramp as well as a ramp for paddle boards and kayak. There is also a nice dock for fishing, as well as a children's playground and tennis courts. It is a nice walk in the evening when the sun is about to set! During certain times of the year you might see manatees and dolphins.
